It has been almost two months since I set up my Etsy shop "Under a New Light," and this blog is coming with it. My idea for this shop came from my love for making handmade accessories and jewelry.
I like to add some recycled materials that give them their own originality. Right now, I'm working with beads, fabric, vintage chains and I will see what else I can create with reused materials. I'm also thinking about working with wool and buttons.
I learned the value of recycled materials and their potential to create cool fashion items here in Montreal - the city where I have been living for a while. It has influenced me with its fashion spirit.
The fall season is just right here on my door and, I'm thinking about making some jewelry and accessories that will fit with the season without breaking my style... Ha! Ha! :)
I'm very excited to make those accessories and to have this blog's official launch to express myself.
